AudioVolver II AudioVolver II |
Even 100 years after its invention speakers are still not perfect. Dynamically and in particular tonally they are mostly superior to models from decades past, but even the best of today's constructions fight with deficits in the timing.
History and missionFor three decades we aim to develop and produce speakers, that can reproduce music in all its diversity. The design style of our speakers was transformed time over time again to reach this goal a little closer. In addition to the tonal balance, the right timing was always playing top of the specification. A correct time behavior is however almost impossible to achieve for classic multi-way systems. We made a big step in the right direction with our exclusive for audiodata-crafted dual coaxial driver. By this concept a much wider frequency range is reproduced from one point. The result is a stable, lifelike spatial response with excellent timing and uniformity across the spectrum at the highest level. In the structure of speakers we have so achieved a physical limit. In order to achieve the ideal of the " time-right" speaker, we carried out - together with external scientists - intensive basic research and developed the AudioVolver II. The solution and the featuresThe AudioVolver II allows for the first time a correction of the time response of each speaker and a sensitive optimization of the frequency response - in interaction with the listening room! The acoustic conditions in a listening room are as individual as a fingerprint. Dimensions, layout, floor, furniture, windows, carpets and many more things determines the acoustics of the listening room and thus also the sound of a speaker sustainable, much stronger than - for example - two different amps would do this. Influences by acoustic conditions compensates the AudioVolver II almost completely and achieves with the existing speakers a sound quality, that you do not think its possible. Sound of highest perfection without moving furniture, pushing speakers or even buy a new system. Structure, timing and punch of the bass is increased dramatically, even with a speaker placement near to a wall, annoying room modes are sustainably reduced. You learn a completely coherent, stable sound image in all three dimensions with an unprecedented sharpness and presence. The design options that opens up are almost limitless. The tuning of the sound on a personal taste is bought without any negative connotation. Corrections, especially for low listening volumes, corrections for different room situations (eg curtains open/closed curtains), and even the perfect replica of a hearing correction, all that is possible - the AudioVolver II is high-tech made in Germany. With analog equalizers, especially as they were used in the seventies and eighties for the correction of the amplitude response of speakers, but also with conventional DSP-based systems, the AudioVolver II has nothing whatsoever in common. The AudioVolver II works with a modern computer CPU that can handle even most complex calculations in real time. The optimization of the frequency response is carried out by the processor with an accuracy of 0.6 Hz (corresponding to a conventional graphic equalizer with 32,000(!) bands), the time correction is performed exactly at 22 microseconds (corresponding to the distance between two samples on a CD). With the supplied remote control you can operate the AudioVolver II from the comfort of your seat, especially the exchange between two different sound variations becomes an experience - an A/B comparison in real time. But this is only a part of the great opportunities, offered by these state-of-the-art component. Another functionality is becoming more popular and opens entirely new possibilities in terms of convenience with again increased sound quality compared with traditional signal sources. |

The perfect streaming team: MusikServer MS I and AudioVolver II |
Streaming - Fantastic ease and even better soundYou can use the AudioVolver II as a modern network player in a UPnP/DLNA home network. The network option is available for current devices upon request, but can also be retrofitted for all devices purchased since the summer of 2009 via firmware update. Our MusikServer MS I with rip option is the perfect playmate for the AudioVolver II As a streaming client in the home network operation is typically done via a smartphone or a tablet PC. Convenient and informative as it gets. Artist, title, maturities, also covers - all of which you can see for example on your iPad, retrieve, and select it with a simple touch. Creating playlists or prospecting and rediscover forgotten music is very easy and really a great fun. In addition, the playback from the hard drive in lossless formats convinces with a sound quality, that is mostly superior to a CD player. The AudioVolver II dominates the most popular formats and is capable to playback high-resolution music up to 24-bit, 192 kHz.
Quality and functionalityWith its ultra-precise volume control, which thanks to its 64-bit architecture allows a lossless setting too low listening levels, the AudioVolver II can also replace the functionality of a pre-amplifier.Last but not least, the AudioVolver II offers as a high quality D/A converter for getting on in years digital source devices. So you have, for example, the possibility to improve the sound quality of older CD players with excellent drives but often elderly D/A converters significantly. All components of the AudioVolver II are tested and selected according to strict quality standards, analog and digital sections are strictly separated from each other and are fed by separate power supplies. The modern architecture of the AudioVolver II cools the processor passively by conduction. Even quietest musical passages or pauses are not compromised by fan noise. The case of the AudioVolver II is carved, all walls are precision machined from solid aluminum and damped by means of bitumen plates. Resonance and straying micro vibrations are effectively eliminated. Installation and PracticeRoom acoustics is complex and theAudioVolver II is a high-tech component, that combats the problems very efficiently at its roots. Therefore to each AudioVolver II belongs a unique service package, which ensures a perfect installation and convenient use for the music lover.A competent, trained audiodata employee makes any necessary measurements and programmes the device in person at your home. On request, we set up the AudioVolver II as a network player and stand in all matters relating to streaming with additional hardware (such as our MusikServer MS I), software and services (such as remote maintenance) to your side. Once calibrated and adjusted, our service does not end. If there is a change of the spatial conditions, for example such as a move or new furniture, or simply your personal listening preferences, we can always calculate new optimization curves. The AudioVolver II can compensate room acoustic events, influences of the formation and construction-related weaknesses of speakers in many areas. Together with our many years of experience in the development of speakers as well as our expertise in the fields of acoustics and measurement the AudioVolver II is a technology platform with unique capabilities. It defines the limits of the currently technically feasible. For audiophiles the AudioVolver II is a revolution, that demonstrate the experience of our customers, for audiodata it is the logical and evolutionary consequence on the way to the original. Arrange a trial date with us and experience your hi-fi system and last but not least your music completely new with the AudioVolver II. So you have never heard your hi-fi system before, we guarantee it. |
