After the great success of the dual coax-equipped multitalents Petite and Partout as well as the highly decorated floor standing speakers Ambiance and Avancé, audiodata now presents the long-awaited complement to its programme: Jolie.

Following our tradition of French nomenclature, our newest creation answers to the name Jolie, which means "pretty" or "beautiful." With this, Jolie is created in the same tradition as the classic Filou, although it also picks up stylistic elements from the enchanting Ambiance.

But Jolie is also surprisingly different:

In the mid-/high-range section, Jolie is equipped with a newly developed fullrange driver - an absolute novelty for this loudspeaker segment. With a fullrange driver, nearly the entire frequency range is played back using one single cone, which perfects the principle of a point source and avoids so the errors of conventional multi-path loudspeakers. Spatialness, time correctness and homogeneity of the sound characteristics are thereby on all-highest level.

Besides this principle - as with our dual Coax equipped models - permits perfect hearing also on short listening distances, what makes Jolie the ideal loudspeaker for smaller rooms.

Below 250 Hz, the fullrange driver, which is pretty small and therefore easily plays up to the upper audio band, is supported by two long-stroke 150 mm woofers with aluminium cones. This provides in an optimally designed vented enclosure for a contoured and level-proof bass playback.

With this new F.A.S.T.-System (Full-Range And Subwoofer Technology) method of construction, we were able to maintain all of the sound advantages of the dual-coax models while achieving an attractive market price, which would not have been possible with a downsizing of the elaborate coax driver.

All drivers and crossover components from Jolie are produced with the precision and pair- consistency which can be expected from audiodata. The enclosure is, of course, damped with the famous steel ball filled inner chambers and is available in an endless selection of veneers, paints, and special options.
